She was a member of Mt. Vale Church of God. Preceded in death by husband, Edward Ray Walker; parents, Andrew and Nola Welch; brother, Lee Welch; sisters, Stella Eller and Rosalee Welch. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Carroll and Linda Walker of Talbott, Jack and Suzanne Walker of Knoxville; grandson, Brad Walker; granddaughter, Leslie Walker; great grandson, Hunter Walker, all of Talbott; sisters, Martha Welch and Lydia Woods of Talbott; brothers, Jack and Bobby Welch of Talbott; numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the staff of Jefferson County Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Mt. Vale Church of God with Reverend T. H. Ferrell, Reverend Tracy Colley and Reverend Tony Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, February 13, 2005 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the church.
