Winfred "Wimp" Eugene Reneau

Winfred ?Wimp? Eugene Reneau, age 71, of Dandridge, TN passed away after a brief illness at Laughlin Memorial Hospital in Greeneville on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. He was of the Methodist faith and a veteran of the US Navy, and was retired from Lee Industries in Morristown. He is preceded in death by his parents, Esta and Sam Reneau; brother, Willie Reneau; sisters, Betty Rimmer, Ethel Shipley, Viva Parker and Janice Cagle. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law; Doug and Janet Reneau of Greeneville; grandson, Dillon Reneau of Greenville; great-grandson, Brayden Porter; brother, Steve Reneau of Dandridge; sister and brother-in-law, Johnny and Ruby Cate of Dandridge; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends from Dandridge and Greeneville. ?Wimp? was an avid Tennessee Vol fan. Funeral Service for Wimp will be Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with the Rev. Mike Hensley and Rev. Troy Duncan officiating. Graveside interment service with military honors will follow in Hills Union Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 6-8:00pm at the funeral home.
