Umberger age 77 of Jefferson City, passed away 11:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was of the Methodist Faith. Retired employee of Magnavox Corporation with 40 years of service. She was a Devoted Wife, Loving Mother and Caring Friend. Proceeded in Death by her husband of 56 years: Carlisle S. Umberger. Parents: Walter T. and Myra S. Arnold of Max Meadows, VA. ; Brothers: Kerment Arnold of Roanoke, VA. and Delbert Arnold of Pulaski, VA.; and Sister: Thelma White of Pulaski, VA. Survived by Daughter; Carla Smith and Son-in-law, Lee Bliss of Jefferson City. Step Grandson: Lyle Bliss of Waterford, NY.; Sister: Allison Barker of Greensboro, NC.; Several Nieces and Nephews; Brother-in-law: Duane Umberger of Jefferson City; Sister-in-law: Gayle Bowlin and Husband: Curtis Bowlin of Morristown, TN. Funeral Services 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donny Hankins officiating. Family and Friends will gather at the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2004 to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. Graveside Interment Service.
