She was a member of Strawberry Plains Presbyterian Church and a retired teacher from Rush Strong School. Preceded in death by her parents, Daisy and Wilbur Calfee of White Pine. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James W. Parrott (Retired Judge Tennessee Court of Appeals); daughters and sons-in-law, Libby and Tom Stinnett of Chattanooga, Cynthia and John Smith of Nashville; son and daughter-in-law, Al and Mitzi Parrott of Strawberry Plains; grandchildren, Rob Stinnett, Jay Stinnett, Marcus Parrott and Marci Parrott. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Rosella Thompson, Pam Smithers and Ernestine Denson. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2005 at Strawberry Plains Cemetery with Reverend Dennis Maxey officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 12, 2005 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
