Willis G. Miller

Rev. Willis G. Miller, age 76, of White Pine, TN went home to be with the Lord Sunday, December 4, 2011 at his home. He was a member of Heavenly Freedom Baptist Church in Piedmont. He is preceded in death by son, Willis E. Miller. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Miller of White Pine, TN; children, Ricky Miller of White Pine, TN, Allen Miller of White Pine, TN, Tony Miller and wife April of Newport, TN JoAnn Parton and husband Junior of Newport, TN, Christine Davis and husband Allen of Jonesborough, TN, Sue Rolen and husband Eddie of Walland, TN; 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ruth Davis and Hazel Byrd both of Rutledge, TN; special niece and nephew, Linda and Jimmy Kuykendall, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Smoky Mountain Hospice of Newport. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Marty Turner and Rev. Jackie Caldwell officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
