WILLIS (BRUCE) FORD, age 85, born January 30, 1927, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Tennova Hospice after a lengthy illness. Bruce was a veteran of the United States Army, a graduate of Young High School and a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church. Bruce and his wife owned and operated several dry cleaning businesses in Knoxville and surrounding counties. He retired from West Knox Utility. Preceded in death by father, Earl Ford; mother, Louise Ogle; and step-father, Albert Ogle, Sr.; wife, Beulah Gilliam Ford; sons, Blaine Ford and Willis (Butch) Ford; sister, Linda Couch; and brother-in-law, Eugene Cox. Survived by sister, Wanda Cox; brother, Albert Ogle, Jr. (Evelyn); brother-in-law, Don Couch; cousin, Raymond Ford; aunts, Teresa Holt, Dorothy Cody; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Tennova Hospice, Home Health Care and Meals-On-Wheels for their loving care. Special thanks to caregivers, Lori, Brenna and Lisa. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Richard Ricker officiating.
