Willie Emily Sartain

WILLIE EMILY SARTAIN, age 89 of White Pine, TN passed away Saturday, September 25, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Sartain was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of White Pine, always interested in all phases of the work of the church. She will will be remembered for her dedication to the Primary Sunday School department, where she was a leader for over forty years. Preceded in death by husband, Charles E. Sartain, who was a rural mail carrier in the White Pine area for over 50 years, sisters, Ethel Hale of Morristown, Carrie Gouge of Newport, Margaret Richard of Mascot. Survived by sister, Maxine McNutt and husband Clyde of Knoxville; sister in law, Lura Dee Howard of White Pine; several cousins and special friends, who were always there to offer a helping hand when she needed them. Special caregivers, Carolyn Ellis and Helen Burgin. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at First Baptist Church, White pine with Rev. Jerry DeZearn officiating. Interment will follow in the Jarnigan Cemetery in Morristown. Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
