Willie M. Fox, age 89 of Knoxville, TN died Saturday, April 10, 2004 following a brief illness. He was the son of the late W. E. and Roberta Brimer Fox. Preceded in death by sister, Rhea Sheerrod; grandson, Jon Johnson, Willie was retired from the circulation department for the Knoxville News sentinel after 34 years of service. Survived by daughter, Marilyn F.Johnson of Knoxville; son, William Michael Fox of Knoxville; grandsons, Michael and wife Pat Johnson, Steven and wife Shelley Johnson; great grandchildren, Cameron, Quinton, Jess, Madeline and Ewan Johnson; sister, Julia Parks of Houston, TX; special friend, Mary Leopold; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside funeral service 1 p.m. wednesday, April 14, 2004 in the Hills Union Cemetery with Rev. Denny Ford officiating. Family will receie friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
