Willie June Ford Adams

Willie June Ford Adams, age 96, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born June 9, 1914 in Knoxville, TN. She attended Young High School. She was a longtime resident of Ridgedale Community, retired from Miller?s Department Store with over 30 years of service and was a member First Baptist Church, Jefferson City. Preceded in death by her husband, William Haynes Adams and parents, Charles Joseph and Sophronia Garner Ford. Survived by daughter, Barbara Adams Holt of Jefferson City; granddaughters, Dawn Goodwin of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Patricia Holt Waterman of Niceville, Fl, Kelly Holt of Chattanooga, TN, and great granddaughter, Brianne Holt of Niceville, Fl. Memorial graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m.Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 at Greenwood Cemetery with Reverend Jim Dampier officiating. The family wishes to give special thanks to Peggy Hull who has shown so much care and compassion to not only Mrs. June but to her whole family. They would also like to thank Jefferson City Health and Rehab for the wonderful care given to Mrs. June during her stay there.
