She was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church and the Christian Service Sunday School Class. She was a retired employee of Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Daniel Ashley (D.A.) Roderick; her parents, Hugh and Eva Bailey; brothers, Paul and Mack Bailey. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Janie and Danny Teams of Knoxville, and Nancy and David Clifton of RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom; grandson, Brian Clifton; granddaughters, Danielle Teams and Emily Clifton; sisters, Georgie Bailey and Shirley Graham of New Market, Betty Johnson of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Henry Harlow officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
