He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Franklin Strange; parents, Frank and Bessie Lewis Strange and twelve brothers and sisters. He is survived by daughters, Miranda Frazier and Shelby (Noah) Ketron of Morristown; sons, Fred (Brenda) Strange of Morristown, Jerry (Kathy) Strange and Johnny Strange of Kingsport; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sister, Frances Goode of Knoxville; brother, Aubrey Strange of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend Doug King officiating. Graveside interment services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at White Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
