William "Dale" Snodgrass

William ?Dale? Snodgrass, age 78, of White Pine, TN passed away at his home surrounded by his family and friends on Thursday, October 20, 2011, after a long battle with cancer. Dale was a member of First Baptist Church in White Pine. He was a mail carrier in the White Pine Community for 26 years, a Jefferson County commissioner for 12 years, Landfill Committee Chairman, a local farmer and Veteran of the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents, Scholla and Virgie Rouse Snodgrass; sister; Dot Ward; brothers, Johnny, Jim and Gene Snodgrass. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Hoagy Snodgrass; son, Michael Snodgrass; sister, Laura ?Doodle? Roberson; several precious nieces, nephews, numerous special neighbors, friends and other family members. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2011 in Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine, with the Rev. Doug Brown officiating. Family will receive friends from 2-7:00pm prior to the service.
