William "Shirl" Looney

WILLIAM “SHIRL” LOONEY, age 74, of Dandridge, TN and formerly of Pike County, KY passed away Monday evening, January 23, 2017 at his home. He was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church of Pikeville, KY. Shirl is survived by his wife, Emmie Jean Thacker Looney; children, Kenny Looney, Pamela Varble, Ginger Keener, Courtney Boyd and Shayla Joseph; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill and Donald Looney; sister, Kay Collins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017, 7:00pm and Thursday, January 26, 2017, 1:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Rose, Rev. Phil Hines, Rev. A.B. Thacker and Rev. Paul Huffman officiating. Interment services will be held following the Thursday 1:00pm service at Hills Union Cemetery.
