William Guy McMahan

William Guy McMahan, age 73, of Sylva, NC (Savannah, Township) passed away suddenly on July 4, 2002 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, TN. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Al and Adam McMahan; sister, Mae Young; and parents, James A. and Ida E. Higdon McMahan. He is survived by his daughters, Maureen M. Moore of Everett, Washington, Cathy Begnoche of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Jeri Wiggins of Washington, Lucinda Joseph of Maryville, Washington; sons, Brandon Guy McMahan of Everett, Washington, Guy William McMahan of Belfair, Washington, and R. L. McMahan of Everett, Washington; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Delois McMahan of Derrington, Washington; and sister, Eva Bishop of Spring, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2002, at the Zion Hill Baptist Church and Cemetery in Punkin Town, North Carolina. The body was cemated and returned to North Carolina for services and burial. Arrangements by Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
