William D. Large

William D. Large “Donnie”, age 59 of White Pine, TN was called home by our Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following a hard 15-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis and a short battle with Covid-19. He was 13-year veteran of the Navy with two bronze stars. Preceded in death by his son, Robbie C. Large, brother, Gregory Large. Donnie is survived by his son, William L. E. Large, daughter, Nikki (James) Garris, grandson, Atlas Garris; parents, Wanda Minton Large, Joe Large; sister, Bobbie (Mike) Rhines; brother, Michael (Tanya) Large; several nieces and nephews. Graveside interment service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Head of Barren Cemetery in New Tazewell, TN with the Rev. Reggie Large officiating. Farrar Funeral Home strongly encourages all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of social distancing and facemasks.
