William J. "Bill" Marquis

WILLIAM J. “BILL” MARQUIS, age 93, of Morristown, TN and formerly of Merritt Island, FL passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at The Heritage Center. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City, Masonic Lodge in Pennsylvania, an avid golfer, and a former square dance caller in Florida. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict, and was retired from Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elva Marquis; parents, Homer and Freda Marquis. Survived by his step-daughter, Joan Thompson; granddaughter, Denise Lodwick (Kenneth); great-granddaughter, Natalie Layman; sister, Jacqueline Parsons of Parkersburg, WV; brother, James L. Marquis (Mary Louise) of Carson, VA. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Jones officiating.
