William Don Hawkins

WILLIAM DON HAWKINS, age 85, of Talbott, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, November 5, 2013. He was a member of the Mansfield Gap Baptist Church and was a retired employee of the maintenance department of NCR Corp. of Morristown. Don was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cared dearly for his family and will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hubert Hawkins and Merle Humpston Hawkins; sister, Louise Rhodes; brother Charles Lynn Hawkins. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Lois Hodges Hawkins; childen Donna (Randal) Turner, Delores (Mike) Sartain and Jerry (Teresa) Hawkins; granddaughter, Bailey (Brandon) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Braden and Brooke Johnson. Funeral services, Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Avery Turley officiating. Interment graveside service, Friday, 11:00am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
