He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church of Talbott. He was a 1971 graduate of Morristown West High School, 1975 summa cum laude graduate of Walters State Community College and received his Masters degree from the University of Tennessee in 1984. Former employee of Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a research associate. Preceded in death by parents, Jimmie and Frankie Clevenger and sister, Libby Reagon. Survived by sisters, Deborah Lykens of Jefferson City and Connie Reagan of Morristown; brothers, Jimmie T. Clevenger of Greenville and Jamie H. Clevenger of Jefferson City; several beloved nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2006 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend R. J. Seal officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
