William "Sonny" Clark

WILLIAM "SONNY" CLARK, age 77, of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday, March 9, 2007 at his home. Preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Phillips Clark. He was a member of Swannsylvania Baptist Church, Newport Lodge # 234 F & AM, former captain of Jefferson County Rescue Squad, Jefferson County Equalization Board, Jefferson County bus driver and avid farmer and former employee of the Postal Service. Survived by son, Shannon Clark of Dandridge; special relatives, the Tom Carter family; many special relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Swannsylvania Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Hensley officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service by Brazelton Lodge # 190 F&AM. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Swannsylvania Baptist Church, 921 Swannsylvania Road, Dandridge, Tn 37725.
