WILLIAM T. CADWELL, age 78, of Dandridge, TN passed beyond pain Wednesday, October 6, 2010 following a period of hospice care. He was born, raised and educated in Wisconsin, where he received his business and engineering degrees. He had a tremendous work ethic, often holding two or more jobs with full time class work along with the responsibilities of a young family. He was employed for Phillip Morris management for 33 years and did national and international travel in his position. Following his retirement, he took to the roads of the USA as a truck driver and retired once again to care for his daughter during her final illness. After their marriage, he and his wife Lonnie often traveled nationally and internationally and visited five continents. He was a loving and deeply devoted family man who enjoyed sharing his lake home. He loved reading and was a ?Mr. Fix It? man and kept a large workshop busy with projects. He was the son of the late James and Charlotte Cadwell and was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Cadwell; daughter, Sandra Cadwell and brother, Jimmy Cadwell. Survived by his wife, Lonnie Sue Cadwell; daughters, Sue (Joe) Kugel of Wisconsin, and Tasha Lefevers of West Virginia; brothers, Bob (Bette) Cadwell of Louisiana and Richard Cadwell of Wisconsin; sister, Pat (Don) Sybell of Wisconsin; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other cherished friends and family. The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to "The Smile Train" a charitable organization for cleft lip repair of children. (www.Smiletrain.org).
A memorial service will held Friday, October 15, 2010, 2:00 pm at Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Evansville, IN.
