William Oliver Brown

WILLIAM O. BROWN,age 82 of Dandridge, TN, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2004 at Cocke County Baptist Hospital, Newport. He was a member and deacon of Unity Baptist Church, a retired carpenter, and a veteran of the Army, having served during World War II. Survived by wife, Mable Dora Lane Brown; son, Michael Lynn Brown; brothers, George Brown, Jr and Earl Wayne Eslinger; brother in law, James Rickard; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m., Monday, March 1, 2004 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with Rev. Jimmy Norris and Rev. Glen Rines officiating. Graveside interment service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004 in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
