William "Bill" Mellon

William “Bill” Mellon, age 83 of Talbott, TN and formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away at 4:20 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab following a brief illness. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict. Bill was member of the Tennessee State Guard. He was a retired flight engineer with commercial airlines and of the Catholic faith. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Janette Mellon and several friends and neighbors. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Duffy, Digby, and Buddy. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on April 22, 2024 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with military honors by Volunteer State Honor guard.
