William H. "Bill Joe" Howard

William H. "Bill Joe" Howard, age 84 of Dandridge (Piedmont Community) passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Piedmont Baptist church. A farmer, he was retired from Magnavox Corp and had worked for years as a tractor mechanic. A veteran of World War II, he served with the 543rd Bomber Squadron as an aircraft mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Helen Hickman Howard; sons, Ronald Michael Howard; and grandchildren, John Michael, Stephen, Melinda and Rachel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at the Piedmont Baptist Church with Reverend James Kinser and Dr. Clyde Tilley officiating.
