WILLIAM (BILL) CRAIG, age 90, of Jefferson City, TN passed away January 15, 2015 at 1:30 a.m. at Tennova Turkey Creek following a brief illness. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a graduate of Carter High School and the University of Tennessee. He was a veteran, having served in the U. S. Navy during World War II, and was retired Production Control Manager for Oster Manufacturing. Preceded in death by his parents, William (Mac) Craig and Molly Craig Bell; and sister, Margaret (Clen) Rhinert. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Quarles Craig; daughters, Rachel Craig (Jim Hagerman) of Knoxville, Donna (Mike) Carroll of Mexico Beach, FL; Leslie (Kurt) Blumfelder of Hot Springs, AR; grandsons, Robert Carroll, Alex (Megan) Blumfelder; granddaughters, Haley Blumfelder and Cara (Jeff) High; sister, Jane (Pete) Lewis of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Dr. Gene Wilder officiating. Graveside interment service with military honors will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
