WENDELL LOVEDAY, age 62, of Dandridge, TN died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at St. Mary?s Medical Center in Knoxville after an extended illness. Wendell fought a courageous battle with rheumatoid arthritis and was a former employee of Berkline of Morristown, where he worked as a printer for many years. He was a member of Swanns Chapel Baptist Church and was a softball coach for many years in the Dandridge Sports league. Preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mae Loveday. He is survived by his faithful wife of 42 years, Peggy Loveday; one daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Randy Baxter; one precious granddaughter, Jessica; brother, Glenn Loveday and his wife Linda of Dandridge; sister Sharon Davis and her husband Steven of Dandridge, sister, Connie Roy and her husband David of Nashville; nephews, Kyle Loveday, David Loveday, Chad Huskey, Gabe Roy, Seth Roy and Alex Davis; nieces, Lori Huskey Boles, Rebecca Huskey, Karen Loveday and Gloria Rose; great-nephews, Conner Huskey, Craig and Chase McGhee; great-nieces, Camryn Boles and Caitlyn Loveday; several aunts, uncles and many wonderful friends. A very special thanks to Tracy (second-mom), a nurse from Priorities Home Health. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Swanns Chapel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Graveside interment service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Swanns Chapel Cemetery.
