Wayne Edward Wheeler

Wayne Edward Wheeler, age 82, of Strawberry Plains, TN was called home on December 6, 2021. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Geneva and Jim Wheeler. Wayne founded Wheeler Woodworking in the early 1980’s, thereafter, partnering with Todd Mull to form Wheeler-Mull Furniture, Inc. He was a military veteran of the U.S. Army Corp. and was in the first graduating class of Rush Strong School. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diana K. Wheeler, children, Kelly Mull, Shawna (Shane) Lonas, Jamie Wheeler, and Vicki (David) Stinson, grandchildren, Brett (Jessica) Mull, Blake Mull, Justin (Jennifer) Kennedy, Jared (Kyndra) Henshaw, Raven Wheeler, Savion Miller, Kayla (Cody) Shular, and Chris Fields, 9 great grandchildren, three sisters, Ulene, Carolyn, and Janette, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Wheeler Family Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie White officiating.
