 Wayne Everett McCall, 85, New Market passed to his heavenly home December 20, 2023. 

Wayne was born on September 1, 1938.  He was cherished for his generous spirit and sharp wit.  He graduated from Rush Strong School. An Army veteran, Wayne honorably served our country in Korea. He was also a  member of Strawberry Plains First Baptist Church.   Preceded in death by wife Brenda, their son Bart, parents Charlie and Bertha McCall, sister Diane Wilson, and nephew Matt Riley.  Survived by sister Charlotte McCall Bounds, nieces Peyton Wilson, Missy Wade, and nephews Taft Wilson, Spencer and Rocky Riley and extended family.  Much gratitude to Signature Lifestyle staff and Amedisys Hospice Care. And special thanks to friend, Perry Trent.  Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Piney Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Military honors will be given by V.F.W. # 5266.
