Wayne Chandler Countiss

Wayne C. Countiss, age 92, of Dandridge, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 1, 2024. He was born August 18, 1931 to the late Charles and Willie (Bowman) Countiss and was also proceeded in death by his wife Hazel Countiss; and brother, Bob Countiss. He was a faithful member of Dandridge First United Methodist Church and Fellowship Sunday school class. Wayne was the owner and operator of Patriot Motors in Dandridge. He is survived by his child; Dale (Tony) Brooks; grandchildren, Steve McCarley and Michelle, Brandi (James) Blankenship, Melissa Summit, and L. Tony Brooks; great grandchildren, Michael (Willow) McCarley, Maci McCarley and Isaiah, Tori Blankenship; great-great grandchildren, Reece and Ryland McCarthy, and Neyland Richards; several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Kristen Burkhart officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday prior to the service.
