Wanda Jean Simpson

Wanda Jean (Snyder) Simpson passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at the home of her daughter.

Wanda was born on June 19, 1931, in Jefferson County Tennessee. She was a faithful member of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church in Kodak, Tennessee for 77 years.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Simpson, her parents Raymond and Anna Lee (Hickman) Snyder, and her sister Hilda (Snyder) Russell. She is survived by her daughter Bobbie (Rick) Epperson, son Dean Simpson, granddaughter Jennifer Coffman, great grandsons Hunter Coffman and Landon Coffman, 2 special nieces, Claudia (Jim) Falin and Jama (Rick) Hickman, numerous special cousins and nieces and nephews.
Wanda loved her church dearly and in lieu of flowers asks that donations be made to the building fund at Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church 4470 Douglas Dam Road, Kodak, TN 37764.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Ronnie White officiating. Interment graveside service will be Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Paw Paw Hollow Cemetery.
