Wanda Marcella Clevenger

WANDA THORNTON CLEVENGER, age 86 of Dandridge, TN, (Chestnut Hill Community) passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Chestnut Hill and worked for many years at the A.J. Bush & Co. Cafeteria. Wanda was a loving Mom, and Nanny to her family and was an enthusiastic fan of the Tennessee Volunteers.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Thornton; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Reva Thornton.  She is survived by her children, Donna (George) Owenby, Randy (Libby) Clevenger and Tony (Kim) Clevenger; grandchildren, Amanda G. McGaha, Jeremy (Heidi) Owenby, Clint Owenby, Danielle (Erik) Trent; Great Grandchildren, Devin (Danielle) McGaha, Ally (Jordon) Smelcer, Dre Owenby, Shayce McGaha, Kenzli Trent, and Keaston Owenby:  Great-Great Grandchildren, Cali, Cam., and Cazlyn McGaha, Rinley Smelcer and Lincoln Owens; special niece, Tena Brockwell and special nephew, Terry Thornton and many friends in the Chestnut Hill community.  Graveside funeral services, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, 11:30am at Chestnut Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Strange officiating.
