Walter E. Porter

WALTER E. PORTER, age 89, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City. He was an avid photographer. Survived by wife, Ann Poore Porter; daughter, Linda Heffner of Dandridge, granddaughter, Brandy Preeschl Black of Boone, NC; great-granddaughter, Bayliegh Black of Boone, NC; brother, Burnett W. Porter, Jr. (Joan) of Hopkinsville, KY; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Farrar Funeral Home with Dr. Gene Wilder officiating. Graveside interment service will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to the service.
