Walter B. Grace

WALTER B. GRACE, age 65, of New Market, TN passed away at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Ft. Sanders Medical Center. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was retired from the City of Winston-Salem, NC as supervisor over the Dispatch Center, with 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lois Grace; sons, Todd (Angie) Grace of Winston-Salem, NC, Jeffrey (Kim) Grace of New Market, TN; daughter, Whitney (Jim) Franklin of Delaware, OH; granddaughters, Jessica, Emily, Laura, Sarah and Cailey; grandsons, Logan and Adam; sister, Betty (Henry) Nixon of Lexington, NC; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1916 Overlook Avenue, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
