Wallace Rose

WALLACE ROSE, age 88, of Baneberry, TN passed away Friday, January 13, 2012. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a retired Professor of Physical Education of 35 years at Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, PA, where he also served as the baseball coach and coach of gymnastics. Preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Billie W. Rose (July 6, 2010). He is survived by his sons, Ted (Kathy) Rose of Lebanon, TN, Barry (Barbara) Rose of Niceville, FL and Michael (Teresa) Rose of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Travis Rose, Tony Rose, Mason Rose, Anna Rose and Zachary Rose; great-grandson, Cayden Osborne. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 21, 2012, 1:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel (White Pine) with Rev. Greg Grant officiating. Interment to follow in Grahams Chapel Cemetery.
