(BUD) MORRISETT, age 72, of New Market, TN passed away on May 8, 2007. Bishop Morrisett was a retired minister, having pastored Church of God congregations for approximately 30 years. He also owned and operated BM Repair Company for many years. He was a member of the Word of Life Church of God in Talbott. Preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lillie Mae (Underwood) Morrisett, and one sister, Francis Daniels. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patsy Rickard Morrisett; sons, William (Butch) Morrisett and wife, Nannette of Cumming, GA, Philip Morrisett and wife, Debbie of Morristown, TN, and Kevin Morrisett of Dandridge, TN; daughter, Alesia Burnley and husband, Joel of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, Nyssa Anne Morrisett and William Bryan Morrisett of Cumming, GA, and Brittany Rae Morrisett and Philip Taylor Morrisett of Morristown; brothers, James (Joe) Morrisett, Alfred Morrisett and J. C. Morrisett, all of Jefferson City; and sister Gladys Morrisett Miller of Jefferson City; several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Adventa Hospice and Joann, Michelle, Garland, Garrett and Ann, who were so kind and loving and giving to Bud and Patsy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Adventa Hospice, 1423 W. Morris Boulevard, Morristown, TN 37813. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Bishop Craig Cutshaw, Bishop Fred Kilman and Bishop Larry Dye officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
