LANGSTON, age 97, former resident of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away on February 23, 2007. She was a member of Shady Baptist Church, where she was pianist for over thirty years. Preceded in death by husband, Howard Langston; and daughter, Dorothy Williams. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia and John A. Tittle of New Market, TN, Julia and John Paschal of Knoxville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, James and Mary Langston of Ringgold, GA; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and thirteen great-great grandchildren, who all loved her dearly. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Shady Baptist Church with Reverend Greg Jones and Reverend James Langston officiating. The body will be moved to the church at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment to follow in Pleasant Grove Piney Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening, February 24, 2007 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the loving and caring staff of Jefferson County Nursing Home.
