Vivian Grace Daniel Clark

VIVIAN GRACE DANIEL CLARK, of Dandridge, TN went to be with her heavenly father on Monday, December 10, 2007. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge. She retired from Dollywood after 17 years of service in 2003. She grew up in Clinton, TN and married at the age of 17. She and her husband, Gene, lived in Knoxville for 39 years and moved to Dandridge in 1983, where they were active in the Knoxville Square Dance Association for many years and in the water aerobics at the Jefferson City Senior Citizens Center in recent years. Preceded in death by her father, Charles R. Daniel and mother, Gladys Faye Johnson Daniel Kerr; grandparents, Florence Locky Webster and Samuel D. Johnson. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Roger Eugene (Gene) Clark of Dandridge; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Jean Clark of Cumming, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Celina and Jack Clay of Syracuse, UT, Beverly and Chuck Miller of Acton, CA, Brenda and Kimse Williams of Powell, TN, and Kimberly Whitmire of Harriman, TN; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to caregivers Karen Ryan, Donna Miles and to the staff of St. Mary's Jefferson Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care that was given to her. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2007 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Dr. Robert McCray and Dr. Robert Brown officiating. Graveside interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Alcoa Highway in Knoxville, TN. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Dandridge, P. O. Box 246, Dandridge, TN 37725.
