Virginia Bacon Webb

VIRGINIA BACON WEBB, age 91 of Dandridge, TN passed away Saturday morning, March 19, 2016. She was born August 1, 1924 the daughter of the late Minnis and Chlora Bacon. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ben Webb and sister, Mildred Hughes. She is survived by her sons, Richard, Ronnie and Roger Webb; grandchildren, Todd and Travis Webb and Alicia Carpenter; great-grandchildren, Bella, Hunter and Derek Webb, Sara and Ryan Carpenter; sisters, Mary Wice and Katherine Harville; brother, Harry Bacon. Virginia was longtime active member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She was a devoted mother and homemaker who cared for her family and tended to the daily needs of her children, grandchildren and the family farm. She also enjoyed assisting and attending functions with her husband, Ben in his many years of administrative service and travel with the Rural Letter Carriers Association. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 10:30am at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bernie Cagle and Rev. Lee Campbell officiating. Interment to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
