Virginia A. McNatt

VIRGINIA A. McNATT, age 76, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday morning, April 16, 2015 at her home following an extended illness. She was born October 15, 1938 in Grand Forks, North Dakota the daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret Scheel Stienberg. Virgina was of the Luthern faith and was a former beautician in Fargo, ND and Plano, TX. She was a cub scout leader, soccer mom and owned her own decorating business in Flordia with her daughter-in-law, Cindy McNatt. She also worked at the Talbott Elementary School cafeteria in 2003-04 and dearly loved her “little people”. She will be remembered for her joy of gardening, oil painting, traveling and entertaining friends with cookouts and her fantastic barbeque brisket. Virginia and her husband Bill will be remembered for their kind gentle spirit who had an open door for any friend or stranger that needed a place to lay their head and get something to eat. They took in people needing a strong family support and love, and these strangers became a part of our family, such as Bill Lossie, Denise Cotton. She was preceded in death by her husband, William W. (Bill) McNatt; brother, George Steinberg. She is survived by her children, Shelly (Greg) Manis, Kris Ann Campbell and William (Bill) McNatt and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah Jane) Manis, Rachael (fiancé, Logan Carter) Manis, Cody and Becca Campbell, Paige and Farrah McNatt; sister, Sylvia L. Oberg; Bella, Mom’s best four legged friend and childhood best friend/sister, Rita Frietag and John; special friends, Jennifer and Leigh Ann Davis several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services, Saturday, April 18, 2015, 2:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Frietag officiating. The Interment will follow at Balch Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00pm prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family requesst that memorials be made to the Jefferson Co. Humane Society, P.O.
