VIRGINIA MAUDE KING, age 92, of New Market, TN and formerly of Jonesville, VA, passed away Wednesday morning, December 3, 2014 at Jefferson County Nursing Home in Dandridge, TN. She retired from Bendix Corporation of Saint Joseph, MI after 26 years of service. She was preceded in death by her son, Floyd Lewis King; father, John Sargent; mother, Mollie Greer Sargent Fields; step-father, Anderson Fields; brothers, George Sargent, Daniel Fields; sister, Lucille Ely. Surviving are son, Carl (Dawn) King of Bridgman, MI; daughter, H. Sue Yingling of New Market, TN; sisters, Lula Mae Ely of Mt. Caramel, TN, Irene Gann of Dandridge, TN, Serepta Alice Large of Pennington Gap, VA, Joyce Harrington of Indianapolis, IN; brother, John Sargent of Dandridge, TN; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Norris officiating. Graveside interment service will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
