Virginia "Jenny" D Strange

Virginia “Jenny” Strange, age 75 of White Pine, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Fort Sander’s Regional Medical Center. Jenny was a member of First United Methodist Church in White Pine, a member of Beta Sigma Phi, chairperson of the White Pine Historical Committee for the past 30 years and a member of Jefferson County Historical Commission, Jenny was very active in the White Pine Community where she could be seen at Town Hall digging through pictures or downtown when there was decorating to be done. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Willie F. Strange, parents, Dee and Effie Noonkesser, aunt, Faye Townsend and niece, Vickie Strange. She is survived by her son, Scott Strange, daughter, DeDee Strange, grandson, Luca Strange, great-grandson, Weston Strange, brother, David Noonkesser, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lynn and Frances Strange, best friend, Linda Kibodeaux and several other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, 7:00pm at First United Methodist Church, White Pine, with family receiving friends between the hours of 6-7:00pm prior to the service
