Virginia Gann

VIRGINIA GANN, age 88, of Morristown, TN passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. She walked into the arms of Jesus at 6:35 a.m. Mrs. Gann was faithful member of Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mattie McDaniel; husband, James Gann; brothers, Pless McDaniel, Robert McDaniel, Bill McDaniel and Hugh McDaniel; sisters, Grace Mayes, Bessie ?Sweetheart? Ellison, Dolly Young and Katherine ?Daisy? Cross; special granddaughter ,Pam ?Gann? Carlyle; several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her children and spouses, Betty and Bud Gann, Peggy and Ralph Stapleton and James ?Ronnie? and Carolyn Gann; special nephew, Charlie McDaniel; grandchildren, Vicky Jones, Tammy Gann, Tony Stapleton, Kim Barrett, Angela Livesay, Tim Gann and Johnny Stapleton; 14 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren. We would like to thank Edie Corbin of UT Hospice for her kind, compassionate care of our mother. The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City Monday, January 17, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend David Sumner and Reverend Tommy Lindsey officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 10:45 a.m. at Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside entombment service. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
