Violet Carr

Violet Carr, age 82, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 4:45 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Jefferson memorial Hospital following a lingering illness. Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her husbands, Hubert Cannon and Ezra Carr; daughter, Beatrice Cannon; and a step daughter, Lois Fox. She is survived by her step daughter, Georgie maples and husband, Carl of Jefferson City; brother, Ralph Johnson and wife, Tina of New Castle, Ind; nephews, Charles and Jerry johnson of Ind, Ronald Johnson of Fla; niece, Janice Groce of Ind.; step grandchildren, kathy Mowrer of NC, Jeff Fox of Jefferson City, Tammy Loy of New Market, and several cousins. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday, March 17 from the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Jefferson City with the Rev. Randy Epps and the Rev. Bobby Drinnon officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 18 at Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery for a 10 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday prior to sservices at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of Jefferson County Nursing Home, Judy Roberts, and a special reemmate, Josie Underwood for their kindness. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be given to the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund.
