Viola Dennis Rogers Keith

VIOLA DENNIS ROGERS KEITH, age 99, of New Market, TN went home to her Lord early Monday, June 18, 2012 at home after a brief illness. Born in Alabama, Viola was a long time resident of Chattanooga, moving to Jefferson City 14 years ago following the death of her husband. She was a dedicated Christian and member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City. She was known for her sweet spirit, positive attitude, love for her family and many friends. All who knew her loved her. Her gentle life and upbeat spirit belied her 99 years. Preceded in death by parents, James P. and Cynthia LouNettia Rogers; husband, Clayton Keith; son, James Roger Keith; three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Reba (Hank) Niceley; grandchildren, Chris Niceley, Vic (Jodi) Niceley, Cheryl (Frank) Trimble, Greg (Theresa) Keith; great-grandchildren, Tarver, Sara, Jay, Chase, Maura, Iain; sister, Grace York of Georgia; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and good friends. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Jefferson City with Dr. Calvin Metcalf, Rev. Jim Dampier and Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside interment service will be held at a later date.
