Victor J. (Vic) Pedone

VICTOR J. (VIC) PEDONE, SR., age 89 of Jefferson City, TN and formerly of Washington, DC, passed away at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City. He was a veteran of WW II, having served in the U. S. Navy and was retired from Sealtest Dairy with 26 years of service. He was known as the "Honorary Mayor of Buena Vista Subdivision." Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Myrtis Pedone; son, Victor J. Pedone, Jr. of Knoxville; daughters, Joanne Pedone of Jefferson City, Janice (Greg) Embrey of Jefferson City, and June Erskine of Florida; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters, and one brother; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2005 at Farrar Funeral Home with Dr. Gene Wilder and Reverend Jim Dampier officiating. Interment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
