She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City, a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord, playing the piano, writing poetry, and the farm she shared with her husband and family. Preceded in death by husband, Ed Simpson; parents, Ida Jane Easley and Albert Easley; brothers, Albert, Willie Joe, and Alfred; sister, Austia Paramore. She is survived by her son, Charles Simpson; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Judy Simpson; grandchildren, Kaci Leigh Anderson, Parker Simpson, Brian Simpson, Scott Simpson and Chris Elliott; great granddaughter, Meredith Grace Elliott; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel. Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m. Monday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, 2011 Branner Ave., Jefferson City, TN 37760.
