RAY CURBERSON, age 80, of Dandridge, TN, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday morning, March 12, 2008 at Jefferson County Nursing Home. Preceded in death by parents, Mitchell and Della Ray; brothers and sisters, Anna Fain, Margaret George, Edward Ray, and Eugene (Dude) Ray. She is survived by her former husband, Clyde Curberson; children, Sanford (Chris) Cuberson of Morristown, Albert Curberson of Dandridge, Harold (Juanita) Curberson of Jefferson City, Clyde (Randy) Curberson of Jefferson City, Jeff Curberson of Dandridge, Celeste (David) Swaggerty of Newport, Cynthia Branner of Jefferson City, Della (Carl) Brown of Jefferson City, Lisa Curberson of Morristown, and Angela (Tommy) Ledford of Talbott; sisters and brothers, Geraldine (Carl) Dockery of Dandridge, Vivian (Joseph) Dockery of Newport and Walter (Greene) JoeAna Ray of Dandridge; devoted granddaughter, Melissa Swaggerty; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge with Reverend Gerald Hodge and Reverend Oliver Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Flatwood Cemetery.
