She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City, and was also a member of the Keenagers of the church. Preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Winstead; father, Mort Love; mother and step-father, Frank and Maggie Eledge Slover; brothers, Claude Love and Bedford Odell Slover, Sr; nephew, Bedford Odell Slover, Jr.; sister-in-law, Pauline Harrell. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Frances Bass of Kingsport, Hazel Love and Jessie Bolton of Jefferson City; grand niece, Cynthia Brooks and husband, Barry of Atlanta; niece, Sylvia Cate of Kingsport; Bill Barbee of New Market, whom she thought of as her son; nephews, Ronald Bass of Morristown, Gerald Bass of Morristown, Bill Bass of Florida; and several other relatives and friends. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service with Reverend Janice Robertson officiating.
