Vance L. Hendrix

Vance L. Hendrix, age 59, of Jefferson City, TN, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2003 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee in Knoxville, following a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy S. and Edith M. Hendrix. Surviving is his wife, Nancy K. Hendrix of the home; his two sons, Roy Brian Hendrix and Marshall scott Hendrix; his sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Paul Crawford, Jr; his aunts, Gladys M. Baldwin and Lola M. Nichols; his niece, Carol Wilson; and his nephew, Wayne Crawford; other family members and close friends. To honor his lifelong love of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the Friends of the Smokies, P. O. Box 5650, Sevierville, TN 37864-5650 in lieu of flowers. Friends are invited to Glenmore Mansion in Jefferson City on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at 7 p.m. to join the family in a celebration and remembrance of his life.
