USAF MSGT (Ret) Ervin Samuel Fowler

USAF MSGT (Retired) Ervin “Sam” Fowler, age 78 of White Pine, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at his home. Sam was known as TallPine to some of his friends was a member of Brazelton Lodge #190 F&AM in Dandridge, and a Vietnam Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bertha Fowler, 3 brothers and granddaughter Rachel Wells. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Gloria Fowler, daughters, Cindy Williams, Christy Wells and Cheri (Stephen) Pierce, grandchildren, Jason and Justin Lavey, Kara Williams, Erin, Jared and Ryan Williams, Steve Wells Jr, and Beth Cannon, great-grandchildren, Jordan, Hayden, Alanah, Amiyah, Jesse and Aaron, sister, Lois Fowler, brothers, Keith Fowler and Kent Fowler, also several nieces, nephews, friends and other family members. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2016, 6:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating, family will receive friends from 4-6:00pm prior to the service. Military Graveside Interment will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016, 11:00am in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
