Treva Liston Cate

TREVA LISTON CATE, age 92, of Dandridge, TN, passed away Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for 15 years. She was born and raised in the Kodak community of Sevier County and was a member of the Kodak United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husbands,Frank Liston and Stanley Cate; parents, Loy and Belle Wheeler; granddaughter, Kathy Liston Watson and three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, James and Betty Liston; grandson, Dan Pearson; great granddaughter, Charlotte Watson; great grandson, Daniel Pearson; special niece, Brenda Claiborne; sister-in-law, Alda Wheeler. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Jefferson County Nursing Home for their special, loving care over the years. Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2006 at Beech Springs Cemetery in Kodak, TN with Rev. Robert Burkhard officiating.
